So you did an update, installed some software, or maybe just have other issues.

Get to REGEDIT somehow. Safe mode, Repair Computer, Rescue Disc, Install Disc
Get to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList
Find the account.
S-1-5-21-3322653407-4019819552-4144115548-1000
S-1-5-21-3322653407-4019819552-4144115548-1000.bak
Rename the first to .old
Delete .bak off the second
Rename the .old to .bak
Basically, reverse them.
Restart the computer.
